Two of the finest pheasant, partridge and grouse shoots in North Yorkshire, still managed in-hand by the Estate.
The Dawnay Estates offers an extensive variety of shooting opportunities across two Estates: driven grouse over the Danby Moors, and partridge and pheasant shooting over the Wykeham Estate. The shooting is managed in-hand and let by the day, overseen by Peter Snaith, headkeeper at Danby, and Matthew Steadman, headkeeper at Wykeham, together with five beat or underkeepers.
Full teams or single guns are welcomed at both shoots.
There are vacancies for the coming season, partly due to Covid-19, and as the Wykeham shoot is committed to the season, bookings are still available, particularly for those who have been cancelled elsewhere.
We are currently taking bookings for the grouse moor at Danby on the North York Moors although there are very few slots left.
