Residential properties
There are 137 rental properties on The Dawnay Estates, from one to eight bedroomed houses. Most are in and around the villages of Wykeham and Ruston.
The majority of our houses and cottages were built before 1900. A continual maintenance programme ensures they meet the lifestyle demands of today. All works, refurbishments and improvements are carefully undertaken to ensure the character of each property is retained.

Do you offer short lets of six months or less?
No, our residential properties are offered either on a two year (or more) Assured Shorthold Tenancy.
When is rent payable?
Rent is payable monthly in advance by standing order. A deposit of a month’s rent is required. Rent levels are subject to open market reviews every two years.
Who is responsible for what maintenance?
The Landlord is responsible for principal repairs. The tenant is responsible for the interior decorations and minor repairs.
Agricultural properties
There are 20 tenanted farms across The Dawnay Estates and numerous lettings of smaller parcels of grassland.
