Hosting guests from far and wide

Our grouse shoots welcome visitors from the UK as well as international guests from as far afield as the Netherlands, Belgium and America.

Pheasant and partridge days appeal to both international and UK guests.

Full teams or single guns are invited to join both shoots.

Annual charity clay pigeon shoot

Since 2017, The Estates’ annual Charity Clay Shoot has raised more than £205,000. Hosted in the grounds of Wykeham Abbey, shooting takes place across the Estate.

Each year the total raised is divided between the permanent beneficiary of the Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust, and a different local charity. These have included Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue, St Catherine’s Hospice, Support Dogs and Ryedale Special Families. The next Charity Clay shoot will be held on 23rd May 2024 – to enter a team please email james.stephenson@dawnay.co.uk
