A popular haunt for many years, the tearooms is under new management and has a new name, “Bolli’s Tearooms”. Servingbreakfast, lunch and afternoon teas from fresh locally sourced and seasonal products. With comfy sofas, farmhouse tables and chairs and a log burner it is a relaxing meeting place in the winter; the large sheltered garden to the rear makes it perfect in warm weather too. Picture Place Gallery

The Picture Place Gallery, owned by David & Alison Roxborough, sells regionally and nationally known artists. Covering a wide range of styles in differing mediums, all works are expertly framed on the premises by David, a “Commended” framer of the Fine Art Trade Guild.

Barbless Flies

Based at The Cartshed Barbless Flies supplies hand tied flies to the river & stillwater fly angler. Ten years ago, Richard Fieldhouse, a keen angler, realising the gap in the market for ready-made affordable barbless flies of quality decided to source his own. Barbless Flies now supply individual and boxed selections of flies to ANYWHERE in the WORLD free of charge. However if you want to pick your own there’s a fantastic selection on display at their shop in the Hillyard together with some high quality rods.

Held in The Hillyard Car Park every Friday morning 8am – 12noon selling a selection of home reared and locally sourced produce. Bread, cakes and pastries. Fruit and Vegetables. Fresh wet fish and shellfish. Pork and Lamb butchers. Plants and garden supplies. British grown cut flowers (March – September).
