The let agricultural holdings encompasses fifteen let hill farms at Danby (beef,
sheep and dairy) and six let farms at Wykeham (arable and dairy). There are also
numerous lettings of smaller parcels of grassland.
Wykeham Farms is the largest operation covering 2,500 acres, part of which is irrigated.
This in-hand farming business is predominantly arable comprising wheat, oil seed
rape, potatoes and 150 acres of energy crops (miscanthus) supply Drax Power. Co-operative
Farming provides the management of the farming business.
